Felicity Jones is a British actress best known in the role of Jane Hawking in the critically well-reviewed movie The Theory of Everything. Jones started acting at 12 years old. She has worked as actress in numerous TV shows, plays and film. Her professional career began in the Television movie The Treasure Seekers. In the following year she was as a character in The Worst Witch as Ethel Hallow and Weirdsisters College. In her first feature film Flashbacks of a Fool (which she played the lead role in), Young Ruth, she went on and acted in other movies. The most notable of these was The Invisible Woman & The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in particular, she became a household name for her role. The role she played as the wife in The Theory of Everything was what earned her her first Oscar nomination. The biopic was inspired by the biography of the physicist Stephen Hawking, and Jones was highly praised by audiences and critics due to her superb performance as Hawking's wife. She was then seen in Inferno which was a horror film that starred Tom Hanks. Jones won an award called the British Artist of 2016 award from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles, for her exceptional ability and dedication.
